How to force disable Participants Video/Audio during the Meeting

If there are a large number of participants in the meeting and the Moderator wants some of the participants Video/Audio to be forced disabled. He needs to follow these steps.


If the Moderator wants to force disable the participants Video/Audio during the meeting. He needs to follow these steps.


Force disabling the participants Video/Audio can be done in two ways, While scheduling the meeting and during the meeting.


Sign In to the Meet Hour account --> go to the Dashboard --> Click on Schedule a Meeting.


When scheduling a meeting, While selecting the Moderator Options check the checkbox for Force Mute Participants and Force Video Mute Participants and schedule the meeting. when the participants join the meeting their Video/Audio will be forced disabled.

Sign In to the Meet Hour account and Join a Meeting in which the user is the Moderator.


Click on the Participants button on the Conference toolbar --> Click on the More Actions button on the participants name --> Click on the Force Mute Video/Audio button.


If the Moderator wants to Force Mute Video/Audio of All Participants, Have a look at the fourth point in the screenshot.

After clicking on the Force Mute Video button a Pop-up appears.


Click on Disable Camera to Force disable the participants camera.

After clicking on the Force Mute Audio button a Pop-up appears.


Click on the Force Mute button to Force Mute the participants.

If the Moderator wants to Enable the Video/Audio of the participants follow the same steps how to Disable the Video/Audio of the participants.
